With such a device, you can ignore high temperatures, insure the thermal comfort of persons in a room or the best conditions for preserving certain goods (especially food). Nowadays, this kind of device is not a luxury anymore, but a natural element of comfort.

The first step in establishing the most suitable technical solution is determining the extent of coldness. The most important element in realizing this is the constructive characteristics of the rooms to be air-conditioned. Thus, west or south-west orientation, last floor location, un-insulated ceiling, un-insulatied walls or neighboring un-conditioned rooms, large area of windows, especially normal-glass windows, stand for disadvantaging factors. Also, you have to consider all heating sources: light, computers or various other equipments, number of individuals in the room.

Then, you choose the type of equipment, according to the space available for installing and to the location of the individuals in the room, in such a way that its functioning does not be disturbing.

Most of the equipments do heat the air, too. So, in the less-cold days, you may use them as heating devices.

The main characteristic of such a device is its cooling capacity, measured in BTU/h or kW. The kW value is obtained by dividing the BTU/h value to 3,413. For heat pump models, we speak about heating capacity, usually a bit higher than the cooling one.

The air-conditioning equipments are also conditioning the air in terms of humidity and purification, within certain limits. Their filters are easy to take off and they have to be cleaned regularly, so that the equipment functions at its best.

The regular equipments consist of one external unit and one or more internal units. The internal unit may be installed on the wall (wall-mounted split type), horizontally on the ceiling or vertically on the floor (convertible type), placed in the false ceiling (cassette type) or it may be freestanding (cabinet type). Window or portable devices are very common abroad, although we came upon them quite rarely in Romania.

Duct type equipment is an elegant solution for large buildings. Only the supply grilles or return grilles in the ceiling are visible in this case. The only requirement is the existence of enough space for the indoor unit to be embedded.

Our company offers you these equipments in a wide range of models and capacities.

Faithful to the idea that quality products are the best choice, we prefer famous trademarks: Haier, White-Westinghouse.

Haier is one of the greatest international manufacturers of appliances and electronics, with a tradition in manufacturing air-conditioning equipments. The advantage of Haier devices is that many external units are compatible with several types of internal units.

The American White-Westinghouse company was formed by the acquisition of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation's (WEC) appliance unit by White Consolidated Industries in 1975. WEC started to manufacture air-conditioning devices in 1933, using Freon 12, a non-toxic and odorless refrigerant. As the time passed by, WEC improved its air-conditioning equipments by using a series of individual technical innovations.

In 1986 White-Westinghouse was purchased by AB Electrolux of Sweden.

In order to meet the requirements of all our customers, we may also offer you a more affordable option: Platinium equipments.
